I've Been Tagged

1.  I was run over by the rear tire of a car when I was 5 or 6 years old.  I was racing to the house and grabbed the back door handle.  My mom could see what was happening, so stepped from the window to the door to yell but it was all over.  There was tire track, head imprint, tire track on the gravel.  My mom swears an angel lifted the car over my head!

2.  I was my dad's hired hand for many years and still love the smell of a freshly plowed field.

3.  Lilacs are my favorite flowers.

4.  Purple is my favorite color.

5.  I count EVERYTHING and steps always have to end at 15 (because that's the number of steps we had to climb to get upstairs in our house growing up).

6.  We go to a trail ride family camp every year and go horseback riding.

7.  It's my 20 year class reunion this month.

8. I have WAY too much stuff to get done before Friday at noon! 

9.  I'm starting a new job at the end of the month.

I like this statement!  I’m glad I climbed to the top of the tree, because I sure found an amazing woman up there!

when I sent him the following email:

 

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Family Dance

One of the churches in our community had a family dance on Mother's Day.  We had a family picture taken, bid on (and won) lots of cool stuff at the silent auction and danced the night away.  It was SO much FUN!!

 

I'm still learning how to do this, so bear with me.  Hopefully I can figure out how to post larger size pictures, but this is a start!
